The works council election for general university staff at the University of Vienna on October 21 and 22, 2025, yielded the following results:

A total of 2,813 colleagues were eligible to vote, meaning that 18 works council members were to be elected.

884 colleagues exercised their right to vote.

Of these, 875 votes were valid and 9 votes were invalid.

The valid votes cast were distributed among the four groups standing for election as follows:

392 votes, resulting in 8 seats
