On October 21 and 22, it will be time once again for you to cast your vote and decide how the works council for general university staff will be structured for the next five years!

The works council election is not just a formality—it is your chance to help shape and influence decisions and send a strong message.

When and where can you vote?

• October 21, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. – Main building of the University of Vienna → [map]
• October 22, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. – New Biozentrum (UBB Djerassiplatz) → [map]
• October 22, 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. – University of Vienna campus → [map]

Important:

• Please bring valid photo ID with you.
• If you have received a voting card, you can only vote on site if you bring this card with you.

The following lists are available for election:

• List 1: UVAB-UG – Independent Representation of General Employees – Independent Trade Union Faction
• List 2: BIVAUP – Operational Interest Representation of General University Staff, Independents and fcg
• List 3: UNSERE UNI – No short name
• List 4: FSG-UP – Social Democratic Trade Unionists and Party Independents

Voter turnout in the BR elections for general university staff is traditionally high – just under 50%.

But we know there is room for improvement!

If general university staff play a key role in making the University of Vienna one of the top 100 universities, we can also break the 50% mark!
